- Nicolas Torzec leads the Data & Science team responsible for extracting, integrating, enriching, and searching information about entities in the Yahoo Knowledge Graph, a rich unified knowledge base of millions of interconnected entities and billions of facts that powers knowledge-based services at Yahoo. He is interested in Information Extraction & Knowledge Management, Knowledge Representation, Knowledge Bases, Web Mining, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Knowledge Engineering. He previously held technical positions at Yahoo Search, Kelkoo, France Telecom R&D, and the University of Rennes, where he worked on Web Search, Comparison Shopping, Text-To-Speech Synthesis, and Natural Language Processing, respectively.
