A WMT-14 Shared Task is a Software Benchmarking Task that examines the quality of translated text of the participant SMT systems as well as quality measures, performance metrics used in the WMT-14 Workshop.

- It can range from being a WMT-14 Translation Task to being a WMT-14 Evaluation Task.
