A SensEval-3 Benchmark Task is a Benchmark Task for Word Sense Disambiguation.

- Its data is based on a small subset of Penn Treebank Corpus.
- It consists of 4,883 words taken from Wall Street Journal articles
- It consists of 2,081 Open Class Words, 1,979 of which are found in WordNet 2.0 http://lit.csci.unt.edu/~rada/downloads/senseval.semcor
- Its associated Workshop occurred in 2004.

- Senseval-3 took place in March-April 2004, followed by a workshop held in July 2004 in Barcelona, in conjunction with ACL 2004.
