A Phase is a distinguishable part of a sequence, a cycle or a state occurring over time or over a recurring series of changes.
- Context:
- It can be a parameter of a trigonometric function representing an harmonic oscillator or wave.
- It can be an angular function representing a complex number in the Complex Plane, i.e. a Complex Number Argument.
- It can be a state of matter.
- It can be a periodic appearance changes of the moon or a planet at a given time with respect to quantity of brightness.
- It can be related to a system of distributing alternating-current electrical power (i.e. Polyphase system).
- It can be related to Polymorphism (color phase).
- It can be related to Algorithm Phase.
