ANCOVA Model

An ANCOVA Model is a Generalized Linear Model (GLM) ([math]\displaystyle{ Y = GM_y + \tau + [B_i(C_i = M_{ij}+ + … ]+ E }[/math]) where [math]\displaystyle{ Y }[/math] is a continuous DV, [math]\displaystyle{ GM_y }[/math] is the grand mean of DV, [math]\displaystyle{ \tau }[/math] is the treatment effect, [math]\displaystyle{ B_i }[/math] is the regression coefficient for the i^th covariate [math]\displaystyle{ C_i }[/math], [math]\displaystyle{ M }[/math] is the mean of i^th covariate, and [math]\displaystyle{ E }[/math] is error.
