A Symmetric Kernel is a kernel function in which the value of the kernel does not depend on the order of the arguments.
- Example(s):
- a Gaussian kernel: K(x,y)=e−(x−y)2
- a Linear kernel: K(x,y)=x⋅y
- a Polynomial kernel: K(x,y)=(x⋅y+c)
- ...
