A Least-Square Solution is a fitted function the sum of the squares of point residuals is minimized.
- AKA: Least Squares Estimate.
- Context:
- It can (typically) be produced by a Least-Squares System (solving a least-squares task).
- It can range from being an Ordinary Least Squares Estimate to being a Regularized Least Squares Estimate.
