Cosecant Function

A Cosecant Function is a trigonometric function and the reciprocal fuction of the sine function.

• AKA: Cosecant, Cosecant of an Angle.
• Context:
  • It can be defined as the ratio between lengths of the hypotenuse ([math]\displaystyle{ h }[/math]) and opposite side ([math]\displaystyle{ a }[/math]) to the acute angle ([math]\displaystyle{ \theta }[/math]) in a right triangle :

[math]\displaystyle{ \csc(\theta)= \frac{h}{a}=\frac{1}{\sin(\theta)} }[/math]
