In this work, we introduce LexGLUE, a comprehensive benchmark for legal language understanding, which includes tasks such as case law classification, legal rule extraction, and contract element identification. This benchmark addresses the gap in domain-specific evaluations for legal NLP and sets a new standard for future benchmarks in other domains.
