A RelatedTo Relation is a Semantic Relation that connects two or more related Entities.
- AKA: RelatedTo, EntitiesRelatedTo, ConceptuallyRelatedTo, Related-To.
- Context:
- It can be a Correlation.
- It is an Symmetric Relation; because if A is related to B then B is related to A.
- It is an Irreflexive Relation; because a thing is not related to itself. (A person is not related to itself).
- It is not necessarily a Transitive Relation or Intransitive Relation.
- It can have the Semantic Relation Mention Pattern of “NP is related to NP”.
- It can (typically) be a Many-to-Many Relation.
- It can be an IsA Relation.
- Example(s):
- RelatedTo(bad breath, mint).
- RelatedTo(cold, heat). (an Antonym relation)
