    • QUOTE: Dense: A multi-dimensional database is dense if a relatively high percentage of the possible combinations of its dimension members contain data values. This is the opposite of sparse. Dice: An OLAP function. The dice operation is a slice on more than two dimentions of a data cube (or more than two concecutive slices).
