The CoNLL-2003 Benchmark Task is a NER benchmark task that is a Language-Independent Named Entity Recognition Task.

- It uses British newswire corpus in multiple languages (Spanish, Dutch, English, German).
- It uses 4 entities: Person, Location, Organization, Misc.
