    • QUOTE: China's foreign exchange reserves rose USD 1.51 billion to USD 3.112 trillion in June, compared with market expectations of a USD 10.6 billion fall and following a drop of USD 14.23 billion in May. The small gain in reserves was due to an increase in the value of China's US Treasury holdings as fears about a global trade war drove investment flows into safe haven assets. Meantime, the value of China's gold reserves fell to USD 74.071 billion at the end of June, from USD 77.323 billion at the end of May. Foreign Exchange Reserves in China averaged 977489.44 USD Million from 1980 until 2018, reaching an all time high of 3993212.72 USD Million in June of 2014 and a record low of 2262 USD Million in December of 1980. ...
